Welcome to Kiddo's Day Nursery, a family-owned children's day nursery located in the heart of Salford. Founded in 2024, we are committed to providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to grow, learn, and thrive.

Our team of dedicated, experienced staff work closely with families to ensure each child’s unique needs are met, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development at every stage of their early years.

Jessica Parkinson
Manager

Hi I’m Jess, the Nursery Manager. I have worked with children and families for over 17 years and this has been my passion since leaving school.
I have experience in nurseries, schools and prior to becoming the manager of Kiddos day nursery I have been a social worker for Manchester Council for the last 6 years!
I love to watch how children can grow and develop and will be ensuring my staff team give the children the best possible opportunities to do this at Kiddos!
Lucie Parkinson
Deputy Manager

Hi, Im Lucie and I am an integral part of the Kiddo's Day Nursery family and bring a wealth of experience to the Team. My dedication to early childhood development and my creative approach to learning make me a valuable asset to the team. I am passionate about providing a warm and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
I have over 7 years experience in the Childcare Industry.
Sharon Parkinson
Nursery Cook

Hi, I'm Sharon, I am a warm and dedicated Nursery Cook, responsible for preparing wholesome and nutritious meals for young children at the nursery. With a passion for healthy eating and a keen understanding of the dietary needs of growing kids, I carefully plan and prepare each meal, ensuring it's both tasty and balanced.
I am mindful of any allergies or special dietary requirements, tailoring my menu to accommodate every child’s needs. My role is vital in creating a positive mealtime experience, and my thoughtful approach to cooking helps to instill healthy eating habits in the children she cares for.

Jessica Farrell
Apprentice
Hi, I’m Jess. I am currently completing my Level 2 Apprenticeship and am based in the Little Kids Room. I’m really enjoying learning new skills and developing my knowledge while building strong relationships with the children.
I love spending time engaging with the children through stories and music — you’ll often find me in the book corner or singing songs together!

Summer Hoath
Apprentice
Hi, I’m Summer H. I am currently completing my Level 2 Apprenticeship and am based in the Big Kids Room. I’m really enjoying developing my skills and supporting the children as they learn and grow.
I love creating messy play activities that allow children to explore new textures and experiences. I also enjoy outdoor play and setting up tuff trays to encourage learning and development through play.

Summer Asquith
Level 3 Apprentice
Hi, I’m Summer A. I am currently completing my Level 3 Apprenticeship and will soon be fully qualified. My apprenticeship has helped me develop a wide range of new skills to support children’s learning and development.
I am based in the Little Kids Room, and my favourite activity is reading books with the children, helping to spark their imagination and love for stories.
